Original Watercolors by Gene Amondson

Gene Amondson grew up in the logging camps of Kosmos, Washington. His childhood in the foothills of Mt. Rainier was filled with colorful characters such as miners, loggers, rumrunners and bootleggers which provided inspiration for his whimsical watercolors. Amondson studied under Rolf Lindberg, Sweden's great "Troll Artist" which is reflected in the whimsical characters below:
